His website designs and content have received raves from clients and industry leaders, and he is extremely knowledgeable about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He provides insightful website audits that have helped countless clients achieve vastly improved SEO.
In public relations, Andy has won multiple public relations industry awards including Chicago’s top PR honor – the Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) for excellence in public relations in 2011, 2005 and 2004. Competition in this category is intense, and Andy’s campaigns were judged the best of the best.
In 2015 and 2006 Andy received the Silver Trumpet Award for distinguished achievement in public relations from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) in the events marketing category.
In 2021 Andy received a Silver Telly and a Bronze Telly for his work on “Tomorrow’s Leaders”, a 60 minute non-profit documentary that explores youth leadership training by learning from the past. In addition, he received two Bronze Telly Awards in 2021 for work on virtual events during COVID-19.
Andy was named one of Today’s Young Executives of 2004 by The Business Ledger and Elmhurst College Center for Professional Excellence.
In addition to his public relations responsibilities, Andy is director of GR-PR’s community service project – FreeSpeakers.org. The pro bono speaker’s bureau has more than 200 speakers in Chicago, all of whom provide presentations in their area of expertise, at no charge, to Chicagoland organizations and groups. The bureau started in Chicago and has recently expanded to other cities across the USA including: Washington D.C., Phoenix, Los Angeles and Orange County, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, San Francisco, Calif.
Andy recently moved from Naperville, IL to Scottsdale, AZ with his wife and two children.
